The Colorado Rockies Major League Baseball team, a member of the National League's Western Division, was established in 1991 and played their first game at Mile High Stadium in 1993. Coors Field, one of Major League Baseball's most beautiful ball parks, opened in 1995. In 2007, the Rockies made one of the most amazing runs in baseball history with a 20-8 record in September, including winning 14 of the club's last 15 games to earn a play-in game with the San Diego Padres, which the Rockies won.
